Medical Resort Obi Garm is located 2.2km away from the center of Rogun, near the Dushanbe – Lakhsh – Osh road.
The hot water rises from a depth of 300 meters, which is 75оС. The water is held in a special large concrete container so that its temperature reaches 35-40оС and then it is used for treatment and bathing. It is allowed to be inside of the hot water for 8 to 12 minutes. And, this treatment is done strictly under the supervision of a physician. It is located in the right side of A372 highway. It is situated 96km to the east from Dushanbe. The medical resort was founded in 1947.
