The issue of establishing a tourism anti-crisis support fund was discussed in a video conference initiated by the Committee of Tourism Development.
The Chairman of the Committee of Tourism Development Shirin Amonzoda, representatives of development partners and international donors attended the video conference.
“Per President Emomali Rahmon’s support, tourism related businesses are being supported through tax and customs benefits,” said Amonzoda.
“The Committee of Tourism Development proposes to establish an anti-crisis fund to support tourism in order to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on the industry. The fund is aimed at supporting tourism entities at all levels of the industry chain,” added Amonzoda.
The event participants exchanged views on this issue and expressed interest in cooperation.
