 ADRAS

 ADRAS/ADRASBOFI is a handy-woven tissue that consists of silk and cotton threads. It is many-colored, sometimes, it is one-colored. Predominately, adras is the tissue decorated very colorfully and it is called ‘royal’. This tissue uses solid sorts of silk threads. It is concurrently woven with three threads. The width of ready tissue has three kinds: odmiyona – 40 sm., serbar – 70 sm., and kambar or yakbara – 26 sm. Everywhere adras is woven equally, the woven tissues in the different places of Tajikistan are distinct in ptterns only.
